Reed, one of the UK’s leading careers marketplaces, contacted us as they wanted to produce something to welcome their workforce back to the office and thank their employees for all their hard work while they’ve been working from home during the pandemic. It was important to Reed that their staff know they care about their wellbeing, so we worked with them to create a bespoke employee wellbeing pack.
The return to office date for their team was 6th July, therefore Reed needed the employee wellbeing packs to arrive the week before, to allow their HR team time to organise the packs. Some needed to be delivered direct to employees’ home addresses by 6th July as these employees were continuing to work from home. We were happy to accommodate the deadline to ensure the packs arrived in time for all recipients.
We initially quoted 250 packs using one logo. As the project progressed we needed to requote to use different logos on some of the packs – the Reed Jobs logo and Reed Courses logo.
This was split with 210 packs using the Reed Jobs logo and 40 packs using the Reed Courses logo. Reed provided all their logos and designs for the artwork for the outside of the box lid, but to make the packs more distinctive, each box was personalised with the individual’s name printed on the lid and upon opening the box the recipient would see a message from each managing director printed on the inside of the lid.
The employee wellbeing pack consisted of:
We recommended the best print location for the name and logo on the notebook, along with the most suitable quality pen for the box. Reed were happy to proceed with this, so we set up the individual files for the names.
We were contacted during the production time by another member of the Reed team who needed to refresh the teams’ lanyards and wanted to include them in the boxes. They designed three lanyards, one for each of the logos and also rainbow lanyards for their inclusion teams. Reed also asked us to provide some non-personalised packs that would be used as an onboarding pack for any new entrants to ensure no team member was left out. It’s so important that new employees feel welcome and part of the team and should always go hand-in-hand with a formal induction programme.
We had some challenges to overcome along the way with the pink colour in the logo on the mug. Due to the printing process, it didn’t match to the brand pantone colour and the outcome was printing too dark. We ran several tests, slightly changing the colour each time, until we found the perfect colour match for their branding.
The final result was an amazing employee wellbeing pack in a deep A4 crisp white boxes, with designs printed direct onto the box inside and out, complete with a mixture of tie ribbon and magnet closures, filled with goodies. Reed were really pleased with the outcome and employees shared their positive reactions on LinkedIn, which was very rewarding for us to see.
