Yoh – Onboarding kits

We were approached by Yoh to create an onboarding solution for their new starters joining their business in 2020. Their brief was to create something that would give the WOW factor, something to make their new recruits feel welcome and leave a lasting impression. They had seen some of the other solutions we have produced and were really keen to create their own.

Since Yoh are a US recruitment company with a UK arm based in Reading,  they know all about recruiting staff. This campaign was to give their own employees a great onboarding experience and to help them attract the best talent to their business.  Since finding talented people for their clients is what they do, Yoh want to attract the best staff, too.

Following their initial call, our first task was to source the right products suitable to Yoh. We provided SWAG options which we felt worked for their brand and samples we ordered to ensure the colours of each item were consistent and worked together as a set.

Within the industry promotional merchandise can be sourced from thousands of suppliers so it is vital to check that the colours each item comes in works with our customer’s branding, corporate colours and match their brand guidelines. On approval of the content we then moved to box design.

Since the customer did not have in house design capability, we took care of all of this. The customer supplied us with their brand guidelines and their brief, to which we added our suggestions, and then we got to work on some design options.

The customer wanted a clean look, which is why we opted for a white box complemented by their branding and this stands out beautifully.

This project was created 100% in house – we sourced all promotional items, the books were branded in house on our UV printer to ensure an exact colour match with the box artwork. The boxes were wrapped in vinyl which we printed on our large format printer, these prints were cut on our CAD table and the boxes wrapped and constructed by our very own team all in our Basingstoke facility.

The foam fitment was engineered with a corrugated platform underneath to allow additional space in the box for printed collateral their employees would need as part of the pack.

When our customer received these boxes, all content was in the boxes so all they had to do was add their own lanyards as they had produced these previously and distribute to their team.
