End-to-end corporate event management for the Orange Cyberdefense 2022 Summit

THEMPC was approached by Orange Cyberdefense with a request to provide end-to-end corporate event management for the Orange Cyberdefense 2022 Summit. The major event would be held at The Science Museum in London and attended by more than 300 partners, vendors and customers.

We had previously successfully partnered with a former incarnation of Orange Cyberdefense (SecureLink) in 2019, delivering corporate event management services for an exhibition at RIBA, the Royal Institute of Architecture.

Orange Cyberdefense Summit was framed around the theme ‘On a Journey Together’. It sought to inspire security professionals and unlock new opportunities, innovations and solutions to cybersecurity challenges.

The event featured keynote talks by leading cyber security industry figures, headlined by inspirational guest speaker, Steven Bartlett. Bartlett is the host of Europe’s No.1 podcast, The Diary of a CEO, author of the Sunday Times best seller Happy Sexy Millionaire, a host on BBC Dragon’s Den and an investor in Flight Story, Third Web, Huel, and Atai life sciences – to name but a few projects.

The flagship event demanded exceptional event management services – and Orange Cyberdefense knew that THEMPC had the capabilities to deliver them. They also knew that our promotional events management services could be extended to include the creation of event merchandise, such as corporate event goodie bags.

Event management services at their peak

We collaborated with Orange Cyberdefense to get a comprehensive understanding of their event goals. That allowed us to design a truly bespoke event solution, carefully tailored to suit their brief.

Making it our goal to achieve maximum impact and optimal return on investment for our client, our team of event experts achieved event success for Orange Cyberdefense as follows:

• Proactively managed the entire summit from end-to-end – from planning to execution, including set-up, shipping, and collection of assets post-event
• Scoped out the event space and proposed several floor plan options to make the most of some iconic London views
• Came up with a variety of event marketing strategies, event merchandise ideas and concepts
• Onsite event management support throughout the event
• Liaised between the Orange Cyberdefense, the Science Museum, event partners, caterers and exhibitors
• Took care of the registration process at the venue
• Provided event registration services, printing badges ‘on-the-fly’ at the venue door for last-minute delegates
• Designed, sourced and assembled Orange Cyberdefense branded event bags on a mountain theme to suit the summit, each including event keepsakes such as: a tote bag, special event-branded Terry’s chocolate orange in bespoke box, beanie hat, socks, water bottle with carabiner clip, LED light bottle opener, smart gloves (for touch screen)
• Created all partner stands, as well as other high-quality artwork, event collateral and merchandise for exhibitors
• Oversaw shipping, delivery and collection of all partners assets for stands, ready for their arrival at the event
• Stored and shipped vendors event SWAG and printed collateral to the event directly making logistics easier for exhibiting vendors
• Supported speakers and presenters with audio visual issues
