Personalised Christmas hampers for employees deliver a festive glow    

A fantastic Christmas gifting example is a personalised hamper box. Due to the success of their previous year’s Christmas hampers for staff our customer Tech Data reached out to us again to create their latest unique bespoke branded hampers.

As a leading global IT distributor with strong people-centric values, Tech Data wanted to show their employees their appreciation for all their hard work throughout 2021. Whilst the 2020 employee Christmas hampers had been well received, Tech Data wanted more options in 2021 to suit different tastes. Three themes were sought: an alcoholic, a non-alcoholic and a family hamper.

Making a splash through the power of delivering a personalised gift

Following the initial calls and briefing with Tech Data, we started working on sourcing suitable items for each hamper. We recommended some goodies that could be used in all three hampers and then tailored other gifts to suit the theme of each hamper.

No one wants to receive a hamper full of goodies that you can’t enjoy, so we ensured Tech Data’s hampers catered for dietary requirements, such as the inclusion of gluten free biscuits and delicious vegan-friendly goods. There was something for everyone that was certain to be appreciated.

For their family hamper Tech Data wanted their employees children to have their own unique presents, so we put our creative heads on and developed bespoke gifts to delight individual family members (including TechData’s very own bespoke bath bomb!).

Branded packaging with a sprinkle of fairy dust

Once all the content was agreed, our in-house designer created the packaging design for the hampers, as well as the the artwork for some of the items included inside.

The employee Christmas gifts included a custom beanie hat. Tech Data did not want their logo emblazoned on the hat, they wanted something their employees would want to wear, so we created multiple design options using their brand colours and the result was a custom Tech Data ‘on-brand’ beanie!

To complete the look, we also produced bespoke gift tags for items and instruction cards for some of the hamper contents, including a plantable ‘wish upon a star’.

The hamper packaging was branded inside and out. With matt lamination & spot UV on elements on the outside of the box to complete the attractive finish.

A delivery service slicker than Santa’s sleigh

• We delivered a favourable price for our client by suggesting the creation of one packaging solution for all 3 hampers and using internal fitments to ensure individual items were held in place and remained safe during transit.
• 1,650 Christmas hampers containing over 23,000 items were fulfilled by our team of MPC elves and shipped to 7 different Tech Data office locations across the UK & Ireland in plenty of time to distribute employees.
