Working from home is the new norm for many, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Whilst it’s often safer, it can make people feel isolated so it’s even more important to find ways to reach out and connect. Home worker care packages are the ideal way to stay connected with your employees.
The world may look very different, but we all still need that sense of belonging and being part of a team.
Give your remote colleagues a well-deserved boost
There are lots of ways you can engage with your workforce and make them feel valued and motivated. Happier and healthier employees are more productive.
Whether you company is big or small, sending a thoughtful package out to your staff reinforces the message that you care. Everyone loves a surprise delivery!
Stuck for ideas?
At THEMPC, we can help you find the ideal way to connect with your workforce while based remotely. Our care packages are bespoke and can be created for all budgets and industries.
Here are 5 ideas for some inspiration…
1) Clink and connect
Send a package ready for some virtual drinks on a Friday or for a quiz night. We can brand the glass and coaster with your company logo and dispatch it complete with beers and bar snacks. Cheers!
2) Take a break
Encourage staff to take a moment to refresh by sending them a selection of teas, coffees, or hot chocolates. Don’t forget the personalised smartmug to keep their drink warm for longer once they hop back on those video calls. No brew is complete without a biscuit, so we can add those in.
3) Snack attack
Load them up with some healthy snacks for the week, ready to beat for those eleven o’clock hunger pangs and afternoon slumps. They will thank you for it. We can put together branded boxes and tins, or a hamper-style snack feast. These are great if you have scheduled training days or focus meetings, and we can include any other merchandise you require.
4) Stretch those legs
Give your staff a branded beanie hat with fitted head torch and gloves to encourage getting out for daily exercise, or even just to walk the dog around the block. The nights are drawing in and it’s too easy just to sit on the sofa, but exercise is key to feeling better and working more effectively. How about some thick branded welly socks for the weekend walk, too?
5) Workspace wellbeing
Lighten their mood and add calm and balance to their workspace with a potted succulent, or a scented candle complete with matches and personalised notebook. There’s just something about a candle burning or a plant growing that creates a positive vibe.
Stay Connected in a virtual world
Just because we are socially distancing doesn’t mean we need to become socially distant! People are the most important thing in a business and that includes staff and customers. If you want to discuss ideas for care packages, give us a call on 01256 352415.
