Promotional Products Week is set to start – what’s hot on the gift list?

Promotional products are much more than a simple gift – research shows that when a promotional gift is useful, 89 per cent of people will keep it[1]. That means it’s key to make them a central part of your marketing strategy if you want to raise awareness of your brand or business.

A survey carried out by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) found that over 70 per cent of marketers it spoke to use promotional products as a brand awareness tool, and that a quality and memorable product are the top two factors that lead to success.

With Promotional Products Week starting on the 2nd October, we wanted to take a closer look at what’s hot this season:

  1. Contigo thermal mugs

With winter almost upon us, many of us will be turning to hot drinks to power us through the day. That’s why we love these Contigo thermal mugs, which can be branded to your specification. Not only are they bang on trend, they’ve also got a great reputation for being sturdy, BPA free, easy to clean and spill proof.

  1. Moleskine diaries and notebooks

When it comes to diaries and notebooks – luxury is in. That’s why we’ve picked these fabulous Moleskine products that can be personalised in almost any way you can think of. Not only will the recipient of your gift love writing in them, they’ll also make your brand front of mind at all times.

  1. Stainless steel Parker pen set

It’s no good having a fantastic diary or notebook to write in if you don’t have a pen to write with. These stainless steel Parker pen sets are the height of luxury and last for years – showing off your brand or business for longer.

  1. Umbrellas

Many people shun buying an umbrella, only to get caught out in the rain. Giving out a branded umbrella isn’t just a useful gift, it also shows off your brand while it’s in use.

  1. Power bank

Technology related promotional products are now cited as one of the most useful gifts that you can give – so why not create your own branded power bank? Most people will have a piece of technology that needs charging throughout the day, so this is guaranteed to get used. For a fun twist on a useful item, check out this Rubik’s Cube power bank.

According to the BPMA, price is important when choosing a supplier, but the quality of service is more so. At TheMPC – you don’t just get a fantastic price, you also get an outstanding service.
